Since 1983, Randy has specialized in helping clients achieve greater financial independence, from privately held firms, to C-level and highly compensated executives of large corporations. He and Ted Frank established the company to cater directly to the needs of these clients.

In the over 30 + years since founding Smith, Frank & Partners, Randy has been instrumental in the expansion of the company. He is responsible for our fee-based planning group, the core of our business and the primary avenue to extracting opportunities for clients.

Randy and his wife Debbie are both sixth-generation Texans. A graduate of Dallas Baptist University, Randy enjoys boating and spending time on the lake with his family.
