As the Managing Principal and Co-Founder of Smith, Frank & Partners, Randy not only works with clients, but is also responsible for creating the vision and strategic direction of the firm.

Who are our typical clients?

Since 1983, we have worked with small, medium and large privately held companies, C-Level and highly compensated executives of large corporations and professionals. Our entire operation has been built with these clients in mind.

What is the background of Smith, Frank & Partners?

I met Ted Frank in 1978 and he became my mentor and partner for the next 19 years. During that time Frank Voigt joined the firm and then Chris Fay. Our vision has expanded substantially over the past ten years with the consolidation of the financial services industry. Smith, Frank & Partners now proudly supports four divisions.

What is my role in the firm?

I am responsible for our Fee-Based Planning Group, which is the core of our business at Smith, Frank & Partners.  Additionally, I enjoy the challenges of change and I feel we excel at extracting opportunities for our customers. People can copy what you are doing, but they can’t copy what you are going to do.

Something you may not know about me...

My wife Debbie and I have two sons, both seventh-generation Texans. I am a graduate of Dallas Baptist University. I enjoy boating, motorcycles and just about anything associated with speed. There is nothing I enjoy more than being out on the lake and watching the sun go down.
